OC Parks’ Sunset Cinema Series visit event website

OC Parks’ Sunset Cinema Series is back in 2022. The series will include a new crop of feature films coming to six parks located throughout the county every Friday night from June 17 to Sept. 2.
Event sites for the outdoor movies will open at 6 p.m. and films will begin at sunset (roughly 8 p.m.). Each screening is family-friendly, free and includes parking. Guests can bring in their own picnic items, low-back chairs and blankets for seating. Food trucks and booths will be available on-site with bites and beverages for purchase. There will also be a beer and wine garden open to those 21-and-older.

Summer Mosaic Art Exhibit “Inspired by Nature”, Corona Del Mar visit event website

"The public is invited to experience 'Inspired by Nature,' Sherman Library & Gardens’ summer art exhibit. Over 45 original mosaics by internationally renowned mosaicist Irina Charny will be artfully displayed throughout the Gardens. “'Irina’s love of botanicals and nature informs her work, making her the perfect choice for this year’s summer art exhibit. Guests will especially enjoy posing for pics in front of enormous mosaic butterfly wings Irina created exclusively for Sherman Library & Gardens,' said Executive Director Scott LaFleur. "‘Inspired by Nature’ will be on display June 21 through Sept. 21 and is free with garden admission. "Guests attending Sherman Library & Gardens’ Summer Garden Party fundraiser on Saturday, August 27th will have an opportunity to meet Irina Charny in person. OC Parks Summer Concert Series returns with 10 free outdoor concerts on Thursday evenings, June 23 – August 25 from 5 – 8 p.m. Enjoy live music under the summer sky at Craig Regional Park, Mason Regional Park, Irvine Regional Park, Mile Square Regional Park and Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach.

The concert series kicks off with Ozomatli on June 23 at Craig Regional Park in Fullerton, followed by popular local and renowned touring artists including Donavon Frankenreiter, Yachty by Nature, DSB, The Aquabats, Uptown Funk, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Sweet and Tender Hooligans, and Tijuana Dogs.

Featured in Rolling Stone as one of “10 New Artists You Need to Know,” The New Respects will close out the 2022 OC Parks Summer Concert Series with a performance at Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach.
